“The Engaged Brand” Twebinars:
I am fortunate to co-host with Amber Naslund on The Engaged Brand Twebinars. This is a weekly audio interview show that draws on the interactivity of Twitter to serve up questions and bring the audience together. We use a unique user interface that was built specifically for the show. The Twebinar format was first used back in 2008 for a series of video interviews both pre-recorded and live with host, Chris Brogan. Chris and I are the co-inventors of the format and we hope it continues to grow as a way to make “broadcast” events more conversational and social.

Despite what you may think if you know me I really don’t like doing interviews on video. Yes, I love to goof around and have a bit of fun with the non-serious shots as in our take off of sorts of the United Breaks Guitars video called “Convenience Store Chain” or the Radian6 “Elevator Pitch”.
But put me in front of the camera to do a “regular interview” and well, let’s just say I’m still working on it. I do enjoy getting on the other side of the camera though and I’ve enjoyed interviewing many of today’s and tomorrow’s social media leaders.
